At your door

The right person, every single time

Before a CallOut engineer steps inside, their face is checked live against the person we verified, and you give them your code.

The engineer checks in at your door

Their face, checked live

At your door the engineer looks into their phone. A liveness check proves it's a real person there and then, not a photo or a video, and matches them to the identity CallOut verified.

  • Done on every job, not just at sign-up
  • Takes a few seconds

Your code starts the visit

You get a four-digit code before they arrive. The engineer asks you for it at the door. Only the right code starts the visit, and the billing clock with it.

  • No code, no visit
  • No waiting outside on the clock

Then the job begins

Once both checks pass, the visit starts and you can follow everything they find. If you're not in, they wait ten minutes and let you know before anything else happens.

Your code, on your wrist

As they arrive, your code is on your lock screen and your watch, so it's ready when they knock.

Questions

Why both a face check and a code?

The face check proves the engineer is the verified person. The code proves you're there and happy for them to start. Together they mean the right person, at the right door, at the right time.

What if I'm not home?

The engineer can wait ten minutes and contact you through the app or a masked call. If no one answers, the job is cancelled for no access.

Does CallOut keep my face?

No. The face check is the engineer's, not yours.
