Checked before the first job. Checked again at every door.
How CallOut verifies every engineer, and why the check does not stop at sign-up.

A trades directory lists engineers. CallOut checks them, and keeps checking.
Before an engineer can take their first job, they scan their trade cards and certificates, which are checked with whoever issued them. Their public liability insurance is confirmed with their insurer. Their identity is verified with a photo ID and a live selfie, and their address is matched to UK records. They have a short interview, and a person at CallOut decides whether they are approved.

And at every single job
Checks at sign-up only prove who signed up. So at every door, the engineer takes a live face check that is matched to the person CallOut verified, and the customer gives them a four-digit code. Only then does the visit, and the clock, start. A lent account or a swapped engineer simply cannot get in.

Safety for engineers, too
Engineers go into strangers' homes for a living. On every job, one tap opens their safety toolkit: emergency help, an "I'm safe" check-in, their visit shared with someone they trust, and a private report the customer never sees.
