Introducing CallOut: home repairs you can see

CallOut connects homes with verified gas, plumbing and electrical engineers, shows every job as it happens, and keeps the proof.

Getting a boiler fixed has barely changed in a generation. You phone around, wait for a callback, take a morning off and hope the person who turns up is who they say they are. The price is a surprise, and when it is done there is little to show for it but a receipt.

CallOut is a different way to do it. Tell us what is wrong and a verified engineer near you accepts the job. You see their price before you book, watch them arrive on a live map, and give them your code at the door after their face has been checked. Anything extra waits for your approval, you pay by card once it works, and you keep a record of everything: what was wrong, what was done, the safety checks and the certificate.

“We come from engineers, and we see the problems in this industry all the time: payments, transparency, speed, cost, finding work. CallOut is how we think it should work.”

Sayfullah Shehzad, founder of CallOut

Built for the people who do the work

Engineers set their own prices, keep their own customers and never pay for leads. A copilot listens while they work, runs their safety checks and writes the job up from their own words. Network jobs are paid into their CallOut wallet within a day, and CallOut customers' payments usually arrive straight away.

And for everyone who looks after homes

Insurers, housing associations, landlords and heating companies can send their repairs through CallOut, set spend limits, and watch every job live, with a passport of evidence at the end.

CallOut starts in London.
